Connected Sites

Connect your WordPress or Webflow sites to publish AEO-optimized pages directly from the Page Builder — without copying HTML. Changes made in the Page Builder can be pushed to your live site in one click.

Connecting a WordPress site

1. Go to Settings → Connected Sites → Add site → WordPress.
2. Enter your WordPress site URL.
3. You'll be prompted to install the AEO Tool WordPress plugin (see the WordPress integration guide for installation steps).
4. Once the plugin is installed, it generates an API key. Copy the key.
5. Paste the API key into the connection form and click 'Connect'.
6. The tool verifies the connection and displays the site as connected.

Connecting a Webflow site

1. Go to Settings → Connected Sites → Add site → Webflow.
2. Click 'Authorise with Webflow'. You'll be redirected to Webflow's OAuth screen.
3. Grant the requested permissions (read/write to CMS collections).
4. You'll be redirected back and the site will appear as connected.
5. Select which CMS collection to use for publishing pages (e.g., Blog Posts).

Publishing from the Page Builder

Once a site is connected, the Page Builder shows a Publish button alongside the Export button. Clicking Publish:

1. Shows a site selector if you have multiple connected sites.
2. For WordPress: creates a new draft post/page with your content, schema, and meta tags. You review and publish from WordPress admin.
3. For Webflow: creates a new CMS item in the selected collection as a draft. You publish from Webflow.
4. The AEO Tool records the publish action and links the analysis to the published URL.
